About Us
At Grace City Church, our mission is to see people restored to Christ and reconciled back into harmony with their God-given purpose. We aim to empower people within their God-given purpose. In order to see this development in God’s people, we recognise that everything we do must be about God, not us. Our vision at Grace City Church is to empower people into their God-given ability, so He may fill them with His strength and His power.
God operates through His grace, working His awesome power in and through us. We believe God’s grace is His ability working in and through us to enable us to do the things we cannot do in our own ability. We believe God deliberately limits our own capacity, so He can empower us with His capacity to do the things He has called us to do, our God-given purpose.
Our faith lies in God’s capability, not our capability. Our faith in God’s Son, Jesus Christ, saves us, not our works or our deeds. By faith, we believe in God’s ability to save us and adopt us into His Kingdom as His son or His daughter. By faith, we believe, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”(Phil 4:13). God’s grace empowers us by giving us that strength, His strength.
