What We Believe

We believe that everyone's life must be built on an immovable and infallible foundation. For us, that foundation is the Bible which we believe to be accurate, authoritative, and applicable to everyday life.

We believe that through the Bible we receive a revelation of who God is, and what He expects of us. We believe that God exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit; that He created us in His image to have purpose and relationship with Him.

We believe that every person has sinned and become separated from God. But God, because of His awesome love towards us, paid the penalty for our sins by sending His son to die upon the cross on our behalf.

We believe that in order to be reconciled with God, every person must ask forgiveness for their sins and believe that Jesus Christ died on their behalf; on the third day rose from the dead, and subsequently ascended into Heaven.

We believe that those who turn away from their sins and surrender to Jesus Christ, committing them selves to obey His commands, will not be cast into hell but be welcomed into heaven to live with God forever and ever.

We believe that until that day we have a purpose to fulfil here on earth and that God has equipped us with special gifts to achieve those purposes. He has also given us His Holy Spirit to empower us to spread His message. The initial evidence of this empowering is the ability to speak in a language we have not learnt.

We believe that God is able to heal the sick, transform lives, help us overcome the devil and his demons, and enable us to live a God-glorifying and purposeful life helping others.

We believe that we have been entrusted with this message which we call the gospel, to take it to every nation, making disciples and baptising believers-in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit-until Jesus returns.
